What is Connected TV advertising?
Connected TV (CTV) advertising delivers video ads in supported streaming environments watched on internet-connected televisions, such as smart TV apps and streaming devices plugged into a TV.
What is the difference between CTV and OTT advertising?
CTV refers to the connected television screen and viewing environment. OTT refers to video delivered over the internet outside traditional cable, DTH or broadcast distribution. OTT content can also be watched on phones and computers, so the two overlap but are not the same.
Which platforms can CTV advertising appear on in India?
Availability depends on the inventory provider, market, buying route and campaign requirements. Options can include streaming publishers, smart TV manufacturer ad platforms and programmatic CTV inventory. InfluencerHai does not have access to every platform; your proposal names the specific publishers or partners available for your campaign.
Can CTV advertising target specific audiences?
Yes, within limits. Platforms may offer geographic, contextual, device and audience-segment targeting, depending on the inventory and data available. Because TVs are shared household screens, CTV does not offer person-level precision.
What CTV ad formats are available?
Common formats include in-stream video (pre-roll and mid-roll), skippable and non-skippable ads, pause ads, interactive or QR-enabled ads and branded placements. Each format is available only where the publisher offers it.
What is the minimum CTV advertising budget in India?
There is no single minimum. It depends on the publisher, buying route, geography, campaign duration and whether new video production is needed. Share your goals through the form and we will recommend a realistic starting budget.
How is CTV advertising charged?
Media inventory is usually priced on a CPM basis (cost per thousand impressions), though some publishers sell packages or sponsorships. Media spend is shown separately from the agency or campaign management fee, creative production, third-party tools and GST.
Can InfluencerHai produce the CTV video ad?
Yes. Our in-house video team handles scripting, storyboards, shoots, editing, motion graphics and adaptation of existing videos to 16:9 and publisher specifications. Production is quoted separately from media spend.
How do you measure CTV campaign results?
We report delivery metrics such as impressions, spend, pacing and completion rate, plus engagement where available. Attribution and incrementality need tracking, consent, sufficient scale and often a third-party measurement provider, and we state the method used.
Can CTV campaigns generate website visits or conversions?
They can, when the format, tracking setup, consent and attribution method support it, for example with QR codes or measured site visits. We do not guarantee conversions, and we report attributed results separately from incremental impact.
Can CTV be combined with YouTube and other digital video?
Yes. Cross-channel plans can combine CTV with YouTube (including YouTube on TV screens where supported) and other online video, with CTV impressions reported separately from mobile and desktop.
How long does it take to launch a CTV campaign?
Timing depends on planning, creative readiness, inventory availability, approvals and the buying route. We confirm a realistic timeline in the proposal.
Do you offer international CTV campaigns?
Our primary market is India. International campaigns are considered case by case, once buying access and inventory for the target market are confirmed.
What reporting will the client receive?
Agreed delivery, performance and budget reporting: typically impressions, spend, pacing, completion, inventory or placement breakdown where available, and a post-campaign summary with methodology notes.
