The basics
What is an influencer media kit?
A media kit is a short document, usually one or two pages, that tells a brand who you are, who watches you, how your content performs, what you have done before and how to book you.
Brand managers open dozens of creator pitches a week. A clear kit answers their first five questions before they ask, so the conversation moves straight to the brief.
- Who are you?Name, handle, niche, location, language
- Who sees your content?Platforms, followers, audience country and age
- Does it perform?Average views, engagement rate, highlights
- Have you done this before?Past collaborations and samples
- What does it cost?Services and optional starting rates
Checklist
What to include in a creator media kit
Profile
A clear photo, your name and handle, a two-line bio that says what you make and for whom, your niche and content language.
Platform stats
Followers or subscribers, average views from your last 10 posts, and engagement rate for each platform you want brands to book.
Audience
Top country, top cities, age and gender split. Indian brands often ask about tier-2 city reach, so list cities if you have them.
Proof of work
Two to four collaborations or samples with the format and, where you can share it, the result. Link to the live post.
Services
The deliverables you offer: Reels, Stories, YouTube integrations, Shorts, UGC videos, raw footage, usage rights.
Rates (optional)
Starting prices help brands self-qualify. Keep them as starting points and quote final prices per brief.
Contact
A business email or website. Avoid a personal phone number on a document that gets forwarded.
Date
Brands notice stale numbers. Note when the figures were last updated and refresh them every month or two.

Platform guidance
Instagram, YouTube and UGC media kits
Instagram media kit
Lead with average Reel views, not followers. Add Story reach if you sell Stories, since brands can't see it publicly. In Insights, take the last 30 days of reach and the audience tab for city and age.
YouTube media kit
Show average views per video over the last 90 days, plus Shorts views separately because they behave differently. Watch time and audience retention help sell dedicated videos and integrations.
UGC creator media kit
Brands buy your production, not your audience. Show 4–8 samples by format (unboxing, testimonial, demo), turnaround time, and whether you include raw footage and usage rights.
Brand side
What brands look for in a media kit
Brands check fit first, then proof. Audience location and age decide fit; average views and past work decide proof.
- Audience matchCountry, city tier, age and language that match their customer.
- Real reachAverage views per post, which matters more than total followers.
- Content qualityLinks to live posts they can watch in 30 seconds.
- ProfessionalismClear services, turnaround and a business contact.
- Price clarityStarting rates or a clear note that you quote per brief.
Metrics explained
Audience metrics and engagement rate
| Metric | How to calculate it | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Average views | Total views of your last 10 posts ÷ 10 | Instagram Insights, YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics |
| Engagement rate (by views) | (Likes + comments + shares + saves) ÷ views × 100 | Post-level insights |
| Engagement rate (by followers) | (Likes + comments) ÷ followers × 100 | Public numbers, when views are not available |
| Monthly reach | Unique accounts reached in the last 30 days | Instagram Insights overview |
| Audience split | Percentages as shown in your analytics | Audience or demographics tab |
The generator calculates engagement by views when you enter average views, and by followers otherwise. Always say which method you used.
Rate cards
Should your media kit include a rate card?
Include starting rates if you want fewer low-budget enquiries; leave them out if you prefer to quote every brief.
Either way, keep usage rights, exclusivity and rush delivery as separate lines so a brand asking for extras pays for them. To work out a fair starting point, try the influencer commercial calculator.
Rate line example
| Instagram Reel | from ₹20,000 |
|---|---|
| 3 Story frames | from ₹7,500 |
| Paid usage, 30 days | +20% |
Illustrative figures only.
Credibility
How to present results without exaggerating
Use averages
One viral post is not your typical reach. Show average views and list the viral post as a highlight.
Name the source and date
"1.2M reach, Instagram Insights, May 2026" is more convincing than "1M+ reach".
Only list real partners
Don't include brands you only gifted or tagged. Brands check, and it costs trust.
Avoid these
Common media kit mistakes
- Leading with follower count instead of average views.
- Numbers that are six months old.
- Five pages when one would do.
- Screenshots of analytics that are unreadable on a phone.
- No clear way to contact you.
- Logos of brands you never worked with.
- A personal phone number on a document that gets forwarded.
- Text-as-image PDFs that brands can't copy from or search.

Your data
Privacy and how saving works
Until you press Save, everything stays in your browser. Downloading a PDF sends nothing to us.
- Save stores your kit privately and gives you a secret edit link.
- Unlisted creates a link only people you send it to can open. Search engines are told not to index it.
- Public keeps the link open. Search listing is a separate opt-in.
- Change link turns off the old address instantly.
- Delete removes the kit and its images.
- Your email only shows if you tick "Show my email". Hidden rates never reach the public page.
- Unpublished kits that stay unchanged for 90 days are deleted.
FAQ
Media kit questions
What is an influencer media kit?
A media kit is a one- or two-page document that introduces a creator to brands: who you are, where your audience is, how your content performs, work you have done and how to book you. Brands use it to decide quickly whether you fit a campaign.
Is this media kit generator free?
Yes. You can build, preview and download your media kit as a PDF without creating an account or giving an email address. Saving online and sharing a link are optional.
Do I need to sign up to download my media kit?
No. The PDF download works straight from the preview. You only share details with InfluencerHai if you choose to save the kit online or register as a creator.
What should I include in my media kit?
Your name and handle, a two-line bio, your niche, platforms with followers and average views, engagement rate, audience location and age, two to four past collaborations or samples, the services you offer and a way to contact you.
Should I put my rates in my media kit?
It is optional. Showing starting rates filters out brands that cannot afford you and speeds up negotiation. Hiding them lets you quote per brief. This generator lets you add rates and hide them from the public version.
How do I calculate my engagement rate?
Add average likes and comments (and shares or saves if you track them), divide by average views and multiply by 100. If you do not know views, divide by followers instead. Say which method you used.
Is my data public?
No. The kit stays in your browser until you click Save. Saved kits are private. A public link only exists after you choose to publish, and you can switch it off, change the link or delete the kit at any time.
Can UGC creators use this media kit maker?
Yes. Choose the UGC portfolio template. It puts your work samples and services first and works even if you do not post on your own channels.
